Info and FAQ

Payment Options:
We use PayPal for our checkout.  If you don't have a Paypal account and would like to use a credit card, continue clicking through the checkout process until you get to the option to use a credit card.  

Update:  We have now added Stripe to our checkout, so you can use your credit card without having to have a PayPal account.


A note about our PDF files:
- Our PDF patterns are instant downloads, so the pattern will be emailed to you immediately upon checking out.
- Please click on the link in the email to download your PDF. The link is the blue text right next to the image of the pattern front. 
- If you have pop up blockers and such running on your PC, the link might be blocked and it will take you to the order page instead.  You may need to set your PC to allow the link to open to the download.   If you don't know how to do this, you could also open it on your phone or tablet, download a copy, email it to yourself and then open it from your PC.
- Don't forget to check your spam filter, if you don't see it right away.
- The link will be emailed to the email address associated with your PayPayl account, if that is the route that you use to check out.  Sometimes people are not currently using this email address and don't think to check it when looking for the email with the link.
- The PDF service that we use only allows 5 downloads, so remember to save a copy right away because each time you open the file, it counts as one of the downloads.
- If you open or download the file and can't find it, check in the files folder on your phone or tablet OR the downloads folder on you PC.  



Shipping:

- Shipping fees are calculated per item.  If you order multiple items, such as 1/2 yards of fabric, the shipping fees sometimes add up to more than what it costs to ship the items.   After the order is placed, we will adjust the cost of the shipping to reflect the actual shipping charge.
- All orders are shipped in 1-3 business days.
- Almost all orders are shipped via USPS.  Most of the time we use Ground Advantage, which does come with tracking.  Watch for an email following your order and after we get the items packaged up for shipping.  That follow up email will include your tracking.
- We are sorry, but we are currently not doing any international shipping.  We've just had too many issues with long shipping delays, high costs, and time spent on figuring out custom forms and requirements.  With just me on "staff", it's just not possible to do it all!  We recommend finding an online retailer that offers international shipping to help out with this, but keep in mind that our PDF patterns and books are availble for immediate download to any country.


Wholesale Inquiries:

Our books and patterns are available through distributors like Riley Blake Designs, United Notions, Checker Distributors, Petersen-Arne Distribution, and Brewer Sewing.

If you’d prefer to buy wholesale directly, directly from us, just drop us an email at [email protected] to place your order. 

Our requirements are:
- A Minimum of (3) units per SKU
- A $50 minimum total
- Your shop name, shipping information and phone number
 - Your Tax ID #

Returns or Refunds: 
Books and patterns are not returnable.  If you change your mind about a kit or fabric, it can be returned if it's unopened and in sellable condition.  The shipping fees on that item are not returnable.  Return shipping on those items is at your expense.  Please contact us if you have any questions!
